My Project

I teach students with disabilities work skills while volunteering in the community and in the school. My students are hard workers. For example, they run a food bank out of the school, packaging and delivering food boxes to needy families. We work with assisted living residents to provide them with games and activities, and a friendly face at least once a week.

These items will provide my students an opportunity to manage volunteer bucks and purchase items that will give value to their time.

My students struggle with the concept that to earn money, they need to work. These reward items will provide that motivation to earn and give back to the community.
