My Project

I am a middle school world history instructor for 6th graders. It is a big leap from elementary school to a campus where we have over 1,200 students with 7 classes. In order to make it a positive experience for my students, I like to use a positive behavior system in my classroom.

The Lifesavers, Dum Dums, Tootsie Rolls and Jolly Ranchers will be used as rewards to recognize positive actions and behaviors in the classroom.

In order to foster a safe and secure environment it is essential to acknowledge what students do well.
