My Project
I am the coach of our 28 students who compete in the regional mock trial competition in our area. This competition requires both an enormous time commitment outside of the school day and a dedication to learning nuances of trial advocacy to successfully play the roles of attorneys or witnesses in the courtroom competition. Each year, students who initially were interested in the program discontinue when they realize the commitment or time and independent work that is required.
By the time we get to the competition, students will have persevered through hours of team practice and individual practice to excel in the courtroom; with these gift cards, I can reward the students for their work ethic and commitment by providing pizza gift cards that they can use to purchase their lunch at the competition.
Please help me reward some very deserving students who show commitment, resilience, and work ethic to prepare for the regional mock trial competition!
