Revolutionizing Research and Moving Ahead Mathematically!

My students need iPads so that I can differentiate for my students need in stations in my classroom. iPads would allow students to work independently on Math Facts and Science research.

My Students

My students are a group of highly energetic and motivated First Graders. They love to learn and delight in sharing their knowledge with others. My students come from diverse backgrounds and our school is located in a high needs area. With that in mind, I want to give my students every advantage that I can to be successful and reach their full potential. We learn from one another on a daily basis and strive to be cognizant of what we can do to help others through learning and caring.

My Project

These materials will make it possible to differentiate for student needs. These iPads will help address the diverse learning styles in my classroom and will allow students the opportunity to soar Mathematically and Scientifically. By being able to use iPads to explore animals and plants as well as read books on EPIC, a free online book library, along with challenging themselves with mathematical tasks all of which are differentiated, these subjects will become more lively and engaging for students as my curriculum will become global and will not be hindered by the lack of technology. I am so excited for this to get funded as it will be a huge game changer for my students! Let's put technology in my students' hands! Let's let the students explore and gain knowledge that is tailor made to each students learning needs. Let's let Learning occur in a multitude of levels through the use of these iPads!
