My Project

One of the challenges we face in education today is student engagement, with cell phone distractions being one of the main culprits. While I have tried integrating cell phone technology into my lessons using QR codes and different apps, the allure of text messages and other distractions often prevails.

I believe that having a secure location for students to store their phones during class will not only help eliminate distractions but also alleviate the burden on teachers to manage these devices.

The lock box will empower students to take ownership of their phones by allowing them to keep the key. Additionally, the bookshelf that will accompany the lock box can serve as a reading library, further promoting literacy in my classroom.

I am excited about the potential benefits this project could bring to my students' focus and engagement. Any support you can provide on this initiative would be greatly appreciated.
