My Project

As my students and I are well into this school year, we are looking to re-energize the way we participate in reading, writing, and phonics. To do this, fun and engaging small groups and literacy centers are key. And we need your help to obtain some essential items in order to do so!

Items needed are:

— various books to be used for interactive read-alouds and independent reading

— high-quality book bins to organize our classroom books in our library and small group area

— robust reading/writing games to be used during literacy centers for students to practice their reading comprehension, grammar and writing, phonics, and vocabulary

— decodeable texts for guided reading during small group instruction

These materials would greatly improve the way we learn with joy, authenticity, and meaning—all while developing key literacy skills!
