This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Let's finish the 2023-2024 school year strong! Quarter four has started and we're in need of some basic supplies plus we would love to add to some of our class favorites.

Build, build, build!

My students love to build with LEGOS, magnetic tiles, make sculptures, etc. Their minds are constantly surprising me. Adding more Legos and magnetic tiles to our supply would allow them to create even more! I allow students to make a lot of choices in my classroom. Yes, they create some of the same art but they are also able to explore with and choose what medium they want to use. Many of my students are amazing builders. They love for me to save their buildings and more supplies will help save and display their LEGO creations.

The paper, liquid watercolors, and other art supplies on the list are things we've run out of. Resupplying these items will make it so we can finish all the art I have planned for the rest of the school year!
