This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Instructional resources provided by our district and state are too often outdated and my students need more relevant lessons. Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT) gift cards will be used for purchasing instructional resources that are created by teachers, for teachers. This site allows me to purchase relevant and high interest learning materials to keep my students engaged. Our math series lacks relevant problems and our reading series lacks high interest activities.
These TPT certificates will help me revamp my lessons to create fun and exciting activities, motivating my students to continue on their educational journey.
For example, I have purchased over $50 in digital activities for Black History Month but with TPT certificates I could enhance all the months with relevant and high interest activities.
Student engagement is the key to success during these unprecedented times. With the gift cards I receive, I can purchase diverse instructional materials, including easy-to-use digital tools to help my students in my classroom more effectively. Additionally, your contribution will also further support teacher authors from around the world who have created these amazing resources.
