Reusable Water Bottles to Keep Us Hydrated Part 3

Help me give my students reusable water bottles to take with them to P.E. and their other classes to stay hydrated.

My Students

I am beginning my teaching career a little late in life, but know that I am just as excited as the students that I have had the privilege of meeting thus far. My students attend a Title I school with a very diverse population. We serve pre-kindergarten through 4th grade, as well as self-contained special education classes.

Now with many of our COVID restrictions lifted, it is more important than ever to get my students engaged and motivated about their health (physical and mental) and overall well-being.

My students love PE and are always excited to come to class. The items that I am requesting will greatly enhance their engagement in PE class. I am hoping that my students will see that being physically active is fun and good for their overall well-being.

My Project

I don't know about you, but I did not realize how much I took having access to water for granted. Due to COVID our water fountains have been turned off and we only have access to water bottle filling stations spread through our campus. My students need water to stay hydrated and ready to play and learn.

Many of my students either forget their water bottle at home and have to wait until lunch for water with their meal.

The only access the students have to water during the day is at a water bottle filling station. Many of my parents are unable to purchase a water bottle for their child and this would help with that burden. Your donation would help my students stay hydrated and focused on their learning.
