My Project

Aloha! My students come from extremely diverse backgrounds, in terms of ethnic background, socioeconomic status, and special education needs. Despite these challenges, they are always ready to learn. They come to school every day soaking in as much as their growing minds can handle, and they keep coming back for more. The snacks that I am asking for will be used to replenish our snack supply. More than half of them come without a snack to eat during recess. Many approach me every day to let me know that they are hungry and having difficulty focusing. The snacks also serve as incentives when my students meet their IXL, ReflexMath, and Achieve 3000 goals. I continue to incorporate food in my math lessons helping to teach arrays, fractions, area, and perimeter to name a few. They have fun learning skills that are hard. Your donation will help me continue to provide for my students. The drinks will help for hydration.

My students are deserving of these resources to boost their academic learning, and providing these things will help them improve their overall experience in school, which will help them keep coming back for more.
