Restocking My Classroom

My students need calculators to perform functions that would otherwise slow them down while solving more complex problems. Tissues are always a necessity in any classroom.

My Students

My students are 7th and 8th graders in a newer school. My students are eager to learn. They collaborate and problem-solve. One of their strengths is perseverance. They have been working hard on not throwing in the towel and just giving up. They are proud of their problem-solving skills and accomplishments, as am I proud of them.

My students are developing a growth mindset and becoming critical thinkers.

They are hard workers and are excited to show off their newly developed skills.

My Project

I am requesting funding for calculators and basic materials for my classroom. I currently have about a dozen functioning calculators and would love to have enough for each student. The students are still required to know how to do basic calculations, however the calculators will stream line the process when they are solving more complex problems.

Tissues are a necessity in any classroom.

Sick students in a confined environment in inevitable. Having a decent supply of tissues will help minimize the disruption of having to send students to the bathroom to blow their noses. The little things that matter most.
