My Students

The minds of my students crave knowledge. They want to know everything they can, and I want to give it to them. I need partners like you to make it happen! I teach all subjects in a small, rural, 5th grade, Title I classroom in South Carolina.

My students come from a wide variety of backgrounds.

Some have and some do not. Worrying about food, money, transportation, and clothing are adult worries, yet many of the students at my school face these "grown-up" problems each day. In spite of the challenges my students constantly rise to the occasion and frequently blow me away with their ability to learn. It is my job to level their playing field so that all have a chance to be successful. Through hands-on, exciting and active assessment, all students in my small 5th grade rural classroom prove themselves time and time again.

My Project

Toward the end of the school year, basic supplies such as pens, pencils, and glue are depleted and the pencil sharpener is down for the count. These items are used for a variety of creative projects and interactive note-booking throughout the year. Pens add the right touch of color to any project we complete or notes we have to take. The glue and glue daubers make it super easy and less time consuming to get out things into out interactive notebook. Please partner with us to get these needed materials.

My kids are the best!
