Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Our students mats are tearing and ripped, we have been recycling them for many years. Our budget is very small and does not allow us to order new ones. They are drayed from other centers and some are in worse shape than the ones we currently have. I would like to provide them with new mats that are thicker and sturdier. Our children do not always have the opportunity to sleep well at home. They come to school sleepy and exhausted. With your generosity my students would each have the ability to rest comfortably.
