Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students come from very diverse backgrounds and I am excited to learn with them this year. We were recently hit by Hurricane Harvey and many of my students are still facing struggles. Many are still homeless, but keeping very high spirits.
Creative, thoughtful and adventurous are a few words to describe them.
We love being active, engaged, and learning with an open mind. They like challenges because it keeps them on their toes and keeps their minds imaginative.
Without my students learning would not be possible for me either, they teach me new ways to think everyday as well. I am looking forward to the new adventures we will embark on this year.
My Project
My student's daily schedule revolves around technology. We love using ipad's in our classroom, but we are not able to use them as much because we do not have cases for them. In my classroom we like to enjoy the outdoors and with being outdoors comes bumps and accidents.
Ipad cases will show my students how to take responsibility and care for our classroom items.
They are very durable and are able to take a lot. My students are at the age where they are very curious and want to learn as much as they can about technology.
