Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help us provide some visual resources to our school counseling office space. We are in need of regular bulletin boards that will fit our smaller offices. Students will then have an opportunity to visualize skills, practice sentence prompts and have access to posters to practice key social emotional objectives.

Practicing strategies such as positive self talk and 'I messages', to problem solve with visual support, will help to reinforce strategies like self regulation and problem solving steps.

Our spaces will also benefit from an additional white noise machine to ensure privacy and confidentiality.

Please help provide some additional resources to our school counseling space that will support our ability to teach social emotional skills and increase student engagement.
