Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Despite the impact of learning loss that Covid-19 had on my students, they came to school ready to learn and excited, and ready to learn in person. My students were noticeably behind in all areas but worked hard and persevered to catch up and meet their academic and personal goals. These resources and supplies will help give them the tools to continue learning. The class set of Growth Mindset Journals will guide my students into being more flexible, confident learners as they develop skills in growth mindset and social-emotional learning.
