Help me give my students resources to give them extra practice in the areas of spelling, reading, writing, science, and social studies. I have also requested two books to better my understanding of teaching ELA in my classroom.
My students are in second grade and come from many different walks of life. Half of my students live in the area, and the other half are military children that live on the base.
My students love to read, do projects, use math games, and learn about different cultures.
One thing I always have my students use is Duolingo so that that can learn to communicate with students in the school who speak other languages. This really helps the students who are learning English as a second language so much to communicate with their peers.
My Project
My students would really benefit from these materials to give them the extra edge when it comes to testing season. My students will use these materials daily in the second-grade classroom, as well as at home for extra practice. Buying individual sheets online can become pricey and this would be a great way to have many resources all in one place for one set price.
