Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students that I work with are very engaged when there are instruments in their hands. They have loved working with the desk bells and xylophones. The instruments also teach students vocal skills.

However there are not enough instruments for everyone to play their own.

They currently have to share instruments.

In addition, the older students need to practice on their stage presence . This includes learning how to listen to their voice through a microphone and also how to use a microphone stand. This is a skill that is normally not taught at home or general music classroom so I take it on myself to teach the students these skills. Please help students further continue developing their music skills.
