My Students

My students are a uniquely awesome group of individuals striving to be the best that they can be. They are in a Chinese/English dual immersion school, and boy are they learning fast! Half of their day is spent with their Chinese teacher speaking and learning only Chinese in math, science, and some social studies. The other half they spend with me learning English language arts, social studies, science, and math reinforcement.

The students at our school have many talents and qualities, but they lack resources to help them gain advantages in their educational journeys.

Always eager to learn, the students at our school and in my classroom strive for the best while looking for the best in others.

My Project

We live in an information age! Student learning is enhanced when they have the resources and materials to explore a print and digital world.

We are lucky at our school that we have a substantial amount of technological resources, but we are lacking enough print and publishing resources.

This project requests your assistance to enhance fiction and non-fiction texts in the form of current events (Scholastic News), novels (Caldecott & Newberry Classroom Library Builders), and non-fiction (Must-Know Math and Science Spin Subscriptions). These texts will enhance our "research" components to be able to write reports in various genres and publish them using the HP printer requested.

Your assistance would help us as we explore topics like weather and climate around the world, ancient civilizations, and how to be a better member of the community. This help will also improve our math learning!

Please help us procure the print and publishing resources needed to make these projects happen!
