My Project

My kindergarten students are some of the sweetest kids I have met in my career. They are so full of love and compassion for one another! These books will add more up-to-date resources to our reading lesson choices. Having books that students can relate to helps them better understand the concepts and gain new vocabulary as they read and listen! Our class is very culturally diverse. 72% of our class identifies as a race other than white; these books would allow them to see characters that look like them, helping them better relate to the story.
