My Project

I teach at a Title I school in West Jordan, Utah. This school has a strong community of parents and teachers who work together to provide engaging and rigorous learning opportunities.

Many of my students are first generation Americans, or have immigrated to the states as children.

Therefore, it is important for them to have access to both picture books and chapter books with characters whose backgrounds are similar to their own. These books will motivate my students to develop strong vocabularies and support them in becoming fluent readers. Thank you for your support!
