Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Welcome to the First Grade! Here we learn in a variety of ways, and use many tools to learn new materials. I am requesting resources that I need to replenish, and that throughout the years, has enhanced students' learning. For instance, board games have been primarily used during indoor recess, and to teach skills such as patience, collaboration, teamwork, and following directions. I use a laminating machine to laminate student work and/or teacher created material. An example of this is flashcards, which could be letters or words, depending on the individual student. I have added a Cricut to my request since it will make labeling items in the classroom, and bulletin boards a much easier task, as well as, more legible. Lastly, I have requested essential oils for their calming and therapeutic benefits. I have used one all year, and the students love it.
