My school is located in the East Rogers Park area of Chicago. It is a public school that serves predominantly minority students. My classroom consists of 18 second grade Bilingual-Spanish students. These students are currently in the process of acquiring a second language (English) and they are eager to learn English and assimilate to the American culture. Consequently, I'm always looking for tools/techniques that will not only reach the diverse learners within my class but that will also be an asset to the lesson and enhance it.
