This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My classroom is full of hardworking and enthusiastic students. They face many challenges that they must overcome not only academically, but emotionally as well. Materials should not be one of them.

In this project I am asking for materials that students have either lost, wore down or are in need of replenishment.

I am asking for sturdy home-to-school connector folders, as the ones we are currently using are falling apart. These folders are used for daily and weekly homework and communication between the parents and me. These folders help the students keep their work organized. In addition, I am asking for pencils, and desk name tags which have the 100 charts. Students use this visual daily when they are doing math.
