This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
It's time to get ready to rock out a new school year! Looking forward to seeing all of my new students of our classroom find their unique part to play in 4rh grade.
Our math and social studies classes will be filled in the fall with a diverse group of students from low socioeconomic backgrounds that are eager to learn and grow!
We work in whole group instruction and small group on our rigorous math curriculum. We use our Number Talks, lessons, and Math Centers daily and dive deep into our mathematical world through rich real-life experiences that are hands-on helping us grow!
My Project
This project will afford us the opportunity to hit the ground running this year. With the availability of dry erase markers, erasers, and dry erase cleaner, we can delve deep into our lessons and branch out to work with peers. The materials will allow us to synergize daily with our Math problems that we solve & discuss our strategies.
These tools will help us build the next generation of mathematicians!
We use dry erase markers to solve our work daily. They need to be replaced often, since we are steadily utilizing them to break apart our Math, erase and revise our findings! They help us see and explain our thinking. Isn't that awesome!
