My Students

My students come to my school because of its emphasis on the Arts. I teach math so these kids are a little put off by my class before they begin. They come from all over Oklahoma City so they are a diverse group. They all have a passion for the arts and I take advantage of this passion where I can.

My Project

My original Donors Choose TV has been damaged, and I need to replace it. I use it to show math problems that I do at the board. I use it to project my computer when I use a calculator emulator so the kids can see how to use the calculator.

I will be able to show kids the exact same material that they see from the online version of my class when they are in school.

The continuity will keep them from shifting from one presentation method to another and allow my both my virtual and traditional students to have the same learning experience. I will also be able to include other material that I find on the internet that will help keep the kids engaged.
