My students from Vermont are caring, energetic, and full of questions. They are always wanting to learn and explore. They are always helping one another whenever they can get the chance. They are my second group of students and have already made this year completely amazing. If I could, I would go up every grade with them. They come to school ready to learn and if they don't, their friends are right there waiting to give them a pick me up.
My Project
These materials will make a huge difference in my students' learning. I would like to add more game based learning activity to help engage my students in learning.
By taking the paper away, the lessons become more hands on and require the students' to take charge of their own learning.
My students will think that they are lucky when they get to play the games, but really it is helping them learn. Another added benefit to adding these games into my classroom is that students will have to learn how to work together and how to problem solve when they disagree. These are essential skills for students to have.
