Remote Materials Help My Students Thrive

Help me give my students supplementary materials they can access remotely if they have to be at home.

My Students

My students have difficulties coming to school prepared on a daily basis. Any little noise can cause distraction and make them lose focus. They all come from very different backgrounds, and a lot of them struggle for basic necessities at home.

Our school is a high-poverty school.

My students are learning in a variety of ways! My students ask me specifically for ways to help them focus better. They want to learn and do well. My students need new books to help them when they have to work remotely.

My Project

We are still feeling the effects of Covid this year. I have had many students who have had to work at home for a week, maybe two and then they come back. Sometimes they have to be out again. I need some phonics materials for the students to be able to use that don't involve me having to be right there, these books will be used from phonological awareness practice to daily writing practice. The levels need to be varied because all my students are at different levels.

Sometimes Zoom is not always an option and I need materials I can send home quickly and it can still be effective in learning.

These books will help with this process.
