I'm SO EXCITED to get outside and use these! We, unfortunately, experienced rain the first week, so we had to delay our woods adventure for a little bit longer. Instead of feeling sad, we took the binoculars out in the classroom and looked around the room, practiced quietly observing nature (and our surroundings!) out the window, and even got an up-close view of our classmates. Did you know that reading a poster across the room on a wall is much more exciting through a pair of binoculars? Well, our first graders sure thought so! \r\nWe have six first grade classrooms this year and have added two pairs of binoculars to each of our outdoor learning bags to take into the woods. We have a few 'spare' pairs for students to share and swap in as needed, and cannot wait to go adventuring!
