Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are from a very low income are in Queens, NY. They are all home right now and most before this had no technology or internet. The school has given anyone who needs technology at home a computer or iPad from our reserve.
My students live in small apartments often with many people and concentration can be difficult for them.
I would like to get some resources to make Math easier, more engaging and fun during our distance learning!
My Project
My students work very hard, but remote learning has been extremely difficult for them. They are struggling with the lessons and to keep up with the work. By having chart paper and markers I will be able to have better functioning live and virtual lessons in order to help them.
They need visuals to succeed.
Also since I teach special education students, a printer would be helpful so that I can print and scan in required documents associated with their learning. These things will also come back to school when it resumes.
