Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are eager learners and are always ready to learn although they come from a low-income family where their parents are struggling to put food on the table. As tired as my parents are when they come home from work, they make sure that their children had a great day of learning.
Covid-19 Pandemic and Distance Learning have challenged our society unexpectedly as teachers are having to teach remotely and in many and many other different digital platforms as students and their families struggle to deal with this new learning.
My students lack devices and internet connection at home to ensure continued Remote Learning and education has come to a halt as they await devices from the district.
My Project
As teachers are struggling to give their students the best education during this difficult time, my students are in need of supplies and workbooks so that education can continue to happen at home.
During this Distance Learning, my students are in desperate need of Reading, Writing, Math packets so that education can continue to happen at home.
Once downloaded and printed, my students will be able to use these packets to review their letters and letter sounds, reading and writing, numbers and math.
They need to continue to learn at home so that they can and will be ready for Kindergarten.
