This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are humble, gracious, motivated, and caring despite the challenges they encounter. My school is located in Corona, Queens, which is comprised of more than 90% low-income families who desperately need access to technology at home to help their child. It is also the hub of the pandemic.

Many of these children are doing all of their work on a cell phone that they share with family and siblings.

We have made a lot of academic progress over the last year and I want to ensure their success.

Please, if you can spare a small donation and help spread the word, you will change a life during this ordeal and we will eternally be grateful.

My Project

Our school is closed for the safety of our students and staff due to COVID-19 affecting NYC! As a classroom teacher, I desperately want to continue teaching through remote learning but many of my students lack access to technology!

I am asking for Chromebooks so my students can access the lessons I am creating on Google Classroom!

I would like the minimal interruption of their learning. I am trying to set up Google Classroom with lessons and activities for my scholars! The next step is providing them with the technology necessary to access this great remote learning tool! Please spread the word to help benefit these deserving children.
