My Project

The books that I am requesting will be loved and valued by students for years to come. My 4th grade readers have a growing love of reading. They ask me for new books almost daily. Many of the books that I've compiled here are requests from my students. My goal is to supply my students with books that interest them and inspire them to keep reading.

By adding a variety of quality and engaging books to the classroom library, my students will be motivated to improve their reading and discuss books that they love with others in the class.

In addition, I have a few Multilingual Learners who will benefit from the bilingual books that are requested. Bilingual books offer an additive view of language literacy that promotes the continuation of their native language and the addition of English. I'm so excited to see how my students' love of reading will grow.
