Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Our students are amazing-they are creative, funny, and love working with their hands.

Being in the art room is many of these students' favorite time of day.

It is a time to clear their brains from stress, forget about all of their worries, and exercise both sides of their brain by creating artwork.

High quality canvasses will help the advanced students take their artwork to the next level by creating artwork for district-wide art shows, and a wide variety of coloring books will engage a diverse group of individuals. Studies have shown coloring in adult coloring books relieves stress and supports growth in creativity. Students often have brilliant ideas-they just need a little boost to get them started. These supplies will do exactly that!
