I teach a wonderful group of diverse students, which makes coming to work each day fun! My class make-up is made up of boys and girls, students with and without disabilities, ESOL students, and students native to the English language, students whom are gifted and students with identified disabilities or weaknesses. As you can see, they are all unique and all very special to me.
As an educator, I strive to provide the best education for each of my students.
Some of my students require more re- teaching and different approaches to fully master the standards. However, I have a mentality that every one of my students will reach their full potential each year, which is a different outlook for everyone.
I come to work each day wanting my students to love learning. I want my students to feel accepted in my class and to be challenged. I want students to feel that I am their number one cheerleader, and that I appreciate their uniqueness in each and every way! As you can see, my class is very special and they deserve the best education possible!
My Project
Help me stock my classroom with many different seating arrangements, so all students can work in their best and most comfortable environment! Students learn when they are comfortable and feel that their needs are being met. As their teacher, I pour myself into their emotional needs; but, I need your help to help meet their physical and "comfort" needs. Help me help my amazing students feel and be their each and every day!
Students need choice, and they also deserve to feel comfortable while learning!
These items will help each student decide where to work in our classroom that best suites them. Gone are the days of a classroom full of desk and chairs... Here to stay is a classroom filled with seating arrangements that address all learners!
Through this project, I am excited to see how all learners blossom this year. I am excited to see their smiling faces walk into my classroom ready to learn!
