My Project

Relax, reflect, rejuvenate is a social emotional process to support students receiving special education services. Many of our students are, periodically, unable to focus on academic learning due to emotional challenges. Many are diagnosed with PTSD, anxiety and/or depression.

Given a quiet space, students can use fidgets to help them relax, reflect, REJUVENATE!

Once they have self-regulated, they are better able to communicate their needs receive proper care, then return to learning.

Social and emotional challenges are real. So I want our students to know that we hear them, see them and support them beyond reading, writing and math.
