Our storage bins have been useful in packing and storing snacks that our students enjoy so much. They also store calculators and small items from our science kits that will ensure they are secured and easy to reach. It was essential to have tools that could travel with me to my alternate spaces do I had what I needed to teach lessons as well as do my grading between classes. Our school library has become my second space both for prep time as well as some class time. The travelling whiteboard, wheeled case, and all of the art supplies have allowed me to have what I need when I needed it. The ability to have scissors, colored pencils, markers, gluesticks, and all of their classwork organized in the bins has allowed me to provide students with all they need when they have been working on the stick puppet show in one class or the research project posters in another. There is also enough room for carrying some snacks for them, which is always a hit. The other adaptations, including the light covers and outlet expanders have given my home classroom a much more welcoming atmosphere and have made it more pleasant for the other classes held there by my faculty roommates.
