Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have a middle school science lab that now as a comfy corner. I was shocked at how the students reacted to this area and how much they love it. When they are frustrated or tired or just want to chat with friends they run over and jump into the area. I have one class that tries to fit everyone on the 4 bean bags we have and sometimes they do.
These new bean bags will give more students the opportunity to access this area.
7 new students have entered our homeroom in the last two weeks and I would love to give more space to the comfy corner. And of course snacks always make the day better.
