My students need an iPad and case, interactive games, and interesting current events magazines to improve their reading and writing skills in an engaging and relevant way.
We live in a technologically advanced world. Students today are used to a faster paced, computer based lifestyle. To teach we have to make learning relevant and exciting, which often involves the use of technology and current events, both of which are not easily available on a daily basis.
Now to reach students we have to teach them in a way that is interesting and engaging and up to date with the modern method of learning, which is with interactive technology.
The students at my school are excited to learn and ready to think at a higher level and go deeper into their learning.
My Project
The iPad, magazines, and games from this project will give my students the encouragement and motivation they need to reach their full potential. By incorporating relevant current events and interaction into the classroom through these supplies students can build their comprehension, fluency, and language skills in an engaging and collaborative way.
The goal of this project is to increase the resources available to my students on a daily basis.
I not only want to empower my students through their reading and writing skills, but I want to inspire them want to continue to learn, to have the natural desire to seek out answers through their reading and writing. Technology is the key to future learning. Please help me get an iPad, interactive games, and magazines that my students can use daily to learn.
