Rejuvenating Minds with a Fresh Look

Help me give my students an oppurtunity to utilize stools which will be to utilized in small groups. Small groups allows the scholars to have a more intimate setting to be able to fully understand the concept.

Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My goal for this project is to get a fresher look. After teaching for so many years several items have gotten used or missing. I would love for the classroom to be rejuvenated with new posters and bulletin boards. I would love to start the year off with a snack bank to allow scholars who often don’t have a snack and the opportunity to earn one. The snacks are vital.

The furniture is a helpful piece to allow for movement and different positioning.

Scholars have to be able to move and bringing in a stool would be helpful during small group intervention. Small group intervention allows teachers to catch misconceptions and mistakes early. It allows for scholars to be able to focus on what they may need at the time.

Several boards have been chosen to allow for social-emotional learning and downtime when needed in the classroom.

After teaching for many years and lending items out, I have done an inventory to see what is needed and how all items will be utilized in years to come. I would appreciate this opportunity.
