Our basketball and baseball team also teaches valuable social skills such as teamwork, communication, and respect for others. The students learn how to work collaboratively toward a common goal and how to support their peers. These experiences also promote emotional growth by teaching how to handle competition, disappointment, and success in a healthy way. The students loved all the donations and understood the importance of all the things listed above.
