Reinforcers for Special Education

Help me give my students Legos because our disabled students find them calming when they are escalated. A mix of plain bricks and smaller kits gives the kids choices, which can further deescalate them.

My Project

Most kids with disabilities don’t have emotional problems, but some do. They’re not bad kids, but they have a hard time controlling their behaviors. They need to be taught how to behave appropriately and manage their emotions, and to do that we need to track and reward behavior.

I need reinforcers (Legos) that I can use to incentivize those kids who are still learning to control their behaviors.

Your generous gift of Legos as reinforcers will help those children learn to control their behaviors. And that helps my kids get back to their school work. 🙂
