I am a teacher in an urban school district. It is my third year teaching special education. I have twelve students in both fourth and fifth grade. My students work hard and are excited to explore, discover and learn. A lot of our day will consist of being mindful.
These tools will help my students on a daily basis to become more successful.
This will help us to prepare our students for the year and also for future years of schooling.
My Project
My students have been using LEGO to help with self regulation. I have chosen the emotion set so students can express how they are feeling.
We have been using LEGO to help us stay calm throughout the day.
They are a great choice while we are doing daily conferencing and a popular indoor recess choice. Students are very engaged while they are working with them. Adding new options will help to keep them interested. The storage containers will help us to organize all of our new materials. Thank you so much for your support!
