Refreshing Mathematics Lessons with Home Touchscreen Technology
Help me give my students the best learning experience I can from home with precision writing and drawing on notes during screencasts with this laptop and accessories.
Our students are suffering without the face-to-face interaction in the classroom. Some of these students are dealing with very serious consequences of the pandemic and have limited time or access to the online curriculum. Creating the most concise and effective synchronous and asynchronous learning opportunities are what our students are asking for. Technology in our classroom has always been limited and teachers are feeling that at home too.
My Project
Without the proper technology in this teach from home time, many math lessons have relied on static notes, slide shows without proper explanation, and no walkthrough notes.
All these things would change with a touchscreen laptop, allowing me to provide much more access to the curriculum for my English learners and Special populations.
It is my hope that with the introduction of more dynamic lessons from home, I will be able to close some of the gaps caused by the school closures and prepare them for next year. A laptop would help me recreate my math classroom from home better than before.
