This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many of our students come to the US with very limited resources basic necessities like hygiene products. The process of moving to a new country can be stressful and overwhelming, particularly for families who are adjusting to a new environment, culture, and lifestyle. Being able to help our students families new to the US and addressing would have a huge impact on our students, families and community.

When students are clean and healthy, they are more likely to attend school regularly and participate actively in classroom activities.

Addressing the basic hygiene needs of students contributes to their overall health, well-being, and academic success by removing barriers to learning and promoting a positive school experience. Thank you for your consideration.
