This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students come from a community that suffers from poverty and they have been affected by many different traumas. Some traumas have left them with nothing. Their joy in coming to school is at times the only time where they can be themselves and feel safe.
With these materials my students will be able to use them to be creative.
The incentives and supplies will allow them to be themselves and step away from the academics and be a kid. They will have they need for their everyday education success and not have to worry that they don't have what they need.
The school supplies will allow them to be able to complete their work and express their creative minds in their school work
