A few students made connections between the stories and our classroom environment. Two girls pointed out that the earth in one story looked like our classroom globe. Each student discreetly asked their mom for her shirt size without revealing the surprise.\r\n\r\nWhen the shirts were finished, the excitement was palpable as they eagerly rolled and wrapped their creations.
