My students need a comfortable space to learn and expand their reading. A nice cozy rug and chairs with some good books will do the trick. They are so curious and eager to learn to read and these materials will benefit them by allowing them to get comfortable and ready to read! The area will also be used for morning circle time, where I read to them and check in on them with how they are feeling. A cozy rug and chairs will also be a good comfort area for students needing to spend some time alone to read.
