Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My 2nd grade students have been working so hard this year. They earn classroom money (printed paper coins) in order to purchase something from the class store every Friday. This helps my students learn about money, which is a standard they struggle with, while also learning to be accountable for their behavior throughout the week.
It is almost the end of the year, and they reminded our store is very empty.
I would love to refill our treasure box as soon as I can and continue to use these items for summer school and next year.
I love to reward my students because they deserve it!
