Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
We need books about earth day and would love to have them in our classroom. I would like to teach my students about recycling and the importance of taking care of our earth. What a better way than through literature. Picture books work well in the primary grades. Also, we have used a lot of our basic art supplies (card stock) this previous school year and need many things replaced. These supplies keep our classroom running smoothly on a daily basis. Funding in my district is extremely limited at this time and does not provide for even the most basic of supplies.
Technology is paramount and plays an important part throughout every part of our culture.
It affects how we live, work, play, and learn. The Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards will help me download valuable resources in Climate & The Environment, Science and Technology that my students can use and complete. We have transitioned to paperless classroom assignments via Seesaw, an awesome learning application. Many classroom assignments can be uploaded via Seesaw as pictures or PDFs. The Teachers Pay Teachers website has a plethora of digital resources that will allow me to edit documents versus creating more work.
We can reduce the amount of paper we consume by using digital resources purchased through Teachers Pay Teachers. We are directly helping the environment.
